
STEAM Fest 2016!
Make & Move Club has joined the Cumberland Empowerment Zone as well as several other organizations to bring the students of the 21st Century Learning Centers Afterschool Program an end of the year STEAM Fest! Students will be participating in a show put on by Mad Science and afterwards will be going through a STEAM based obstacle course.

STEAM Meets PE Class
Make & Move Club has will partner once again with Rowan University for an upcoming event in Absecon, NJ. On June 2nd the students from H. Ashton Marsh Elementary school will be celebrating STEAM day. Each class will be performing some sort of STEAM based activity. Make & Move Club and Rowan University collaborated with the physical education teacher to come up with 3 unique games that incorporate physical activity, learning, and most importantly fun!

S.T.E.M Family Night
The recent S.T.E.M Family Night held at Gloria M. Sabater Elementary School in Vineland was a hit with the community! The event was made possible because of a grant from Vineland Education Association and Shirley Santos, a bilingual teacher at Sabater school who serves as the Board President of Boys & Girls Club of Vineland. The room was full of laughter and smiles, and volunteers were delighted to see the faces of the children light up during the STEM activities provided by

Philadelphia Science Festival
It has been a hectic week preparing for our two events for the Philadelphia Science Festival but it was all worth it. Our volunteers rocked their stations and not only kids but their parents as well all had a blast with the activities we prepared for them.
